Chief Accounts Officer : A Master’ degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale. At least 15 years of experience as an Assistant Professor in the AGP of Rs.7000 and above or with eight years service in the AGP of Rs.8000 and above including as Associate Professor along with experience in educational administration.
Deputy Registrar : A Master Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade of B in the UGC 7 point scale along with Nine years’ of experience as Assistant Professor in AGP of Rs.6000 and above with experience in educational administration.
Electronics Engineer : M.E/M.Tech in Electrical / EC / Electronics with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade. Eight years’ experience in a Network Administration & Server Management in a University, Government / Semi-Government / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.
Assistant Registrar : Master’s degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade.Minimum Experience: Eight years’ experience in  Administration/ Accounts/ Secretarial work/ Legal Matters/ Academic and Examination affairs, preferable in a University, Government / Semi-Government / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.
Programmer : First Class M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science/ Computer Engg. / Information Technology OR M.C.A / M..Sc in (Computer Sciences/Computer Application /Information Technology) Minimum Experience:  8 years experience of programming in University/ Government / Semi-Government / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.
Section Officer : Master degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade with 7 years of experience in Administration/ Accounts/ Secretarial work preferable in a University/ Government / Semi- Government / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.

Scientific Electronic Technical Assistant – (Physics Department) : First Class in B.E./B.Tech in Electrical/ EC / IC/ Electronics with Three years experience in relevant field in University/ Government / Semi-Government / Research Organization / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.
Storekeeper : Bachelors of Science Degree with at least 55% of marks or its Equivalent Grade in Relevant field and Minimum Experience of Three years of Handling purchase of Scientific Equipment and Consumables.
Electric Wireman : I.T.I First Class with minimum 3 years’ experience in Electric work.
Senior Clerk : Bachelor Degree with at least 55% of the marks or its equivalent grade with 3 years of  Experience in Administration/ Accounts/ Secretarial work, preferable in a University, Government / Semi- Government / Public Undertaking or in comparable private organizations.
Junior Clerk : Bachelor Degree or its equivalent grade. Essential:  Good knowledge of computer applications. Knowledge of office management, computer office application and Secretarial Service.
Laboratory Assistant : Bachelors of Science Degree with at least 55% of marks or its Equivalent Grade in Relevant Subjects. Essential:  Good knowledge of computer applications. Knowledge of office management, computer office application
General Information:

  1. The Gujarat University will conduct 2(two) test for Selection of Candidate wherever.
  2. The 1st Test is Preliminary test will be conducted on 20th November,2016,
  3. The 2nd Test is Subject / Technical Proficiency test will be conducted on 27th  November,2016.

Preliminary Test (Objective type- MCQs –OMR Based). The Preliminary Test will be conducted for Screening for all the Posts of 120 marks of 2(Two) Hours Duration. Language of the Question Paper shall be Gujarati and English.  The Question Paper of Preliminary test shall consist of 120 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), each of 1 Mark OMR Based. For every wrong answer, there shall be Negative Marking of 0.25 Marks.
The Syllabus for this Preliminary Test is as follows (OMR based):

  1. English Language & Grammar – up to 12th Standard Level  12 marks (Approximate)
  2. Gujarati Language & Grammar- up to 12th Standard Level   12 marks (Approximate)
  3. General Knowledge,  Arithmetic,  Current  Affairs,  Indian  History,  Geography  and  Indian Constitution, Analytical Reasoning, Sports.  84 marks (Approximate)
  4. Basics of Computer Application – Equivalent to CCC Level  12marks (Approximate)
