Name of Post : Project Assistant-III: (Two posts) GEN Emoluments : Rs.14000/- Essential qualifications- B.Tech/M.Sc. Microbiology or Biotechnology with minimum 55% + minimum 2 years of experience in microalgal proteins/pigments/enzymes and their characterization and applications. Or Above qualification with LS/GATE with emoluments (Consolidated @ 16000/-) Desirable: Candidates having publications in peer reviewed SCI indexed journals will be preferred. General Conditions:- Job Requirement: Knowledge on various techniques such as isolation and screening of microalgae and bacteria for enzymes/pigments/proteins, both normal and halophilic strains from high salt environments. Studies in the molecular characterization of microbes isolated for potassium solubilisation. Development of further downstream applications for the said enzymes/pigments/proteins. The posts are purely temporary for duration of sponsored project/scheme only. It would, therefore, not confer any right/claim implicit or explicit for any candidates for claiming extension or absorption in CSMCRI/CSIR. Age limit: Age limit for Project assistant at level III should not be more than 32 years respectively as on the date of interview. However, upper age limit may be relaxed as per CSIR rules for the SC/ ST/ OBC/ Handicapped candidates.
