IITGN Recruitment 2017IIT Gandhinagar is in the process of creating its permanent campus in an area of 400 acres on the eastern bank of the Sabarmati River at Gandhinagar. The sprawling campus is planned to be a complete township having facilities for academic activities as well residential facilities and amenities. The master plan of the campus envisages a population of about 10000 in the years ahead. Applications in the prescribed format are invited for appointment to following position of the Institute on DEPUTATION basis : Name of Posts: Executive Engineer (Civil) Total No. of Posts: 01 Educational Qualification: Qualified Engineers (Graduates in Civil Engineering discipline or equivalent) in service of Central Government/State Governments/ Public Sector Undertakings/ Autonomous bodies. The applicant must have adequate experience in planning, construction and maintenance of buildings and bulk services like WTP, STP etc. Age Limit: Maximum 56 years Pay Scale/Grade Pay: (PB-3) 15,600-39,100/- GP: Rs. 6,600/- (with TA and DA as presently applicable, the gross- excluding HRA- adds up to Rs. 67,378/-p.m) In case family accommodation cannot be provided on the campus with applicable charges, HRA will be paid as per GOI norms. Selection Process: IITGN Jobs Candidates will be selected based on an interview. How to Apply: Only qualified engineers in service of Central Government, State Government, Public Sector Undertakings or Autonomous Bodies need apply. The applicant must have adequate experience in construction of large building projects. The applicant for any post must be in the same/ similar cadre of the parent organization. However, those of next lower cadre with outstanding qualification/work experience may also apply for the higher position. The applications on prescribed format with complete particulars must be forwarded through appropriate authority to Assistant Registrar (Admin-2) of the Institute on or before 10 August, 2017.
