Gujarat Medical/Paramedical Merit List Declared ACPMEC

medical merit list[/caption] 05 Aug 2013 Monday, the Admission Committee for Professional Medical Educational Courses (ACPMEC) officially declared the merit list for the 8,800 medical and paramedical seats. ACPMEC said that the cutoff mark for the merit list is lower by 0.5 to 1.5 per cent. Merit list of First Student is 96.78 per cent. There are 21,291 students on the merit, there were 20,029 students from the Gujarat Higher Secondary and Secondary Education Board, 1,054 from the Central Board of Secondary Education and 97 students from the Indian Certificate of Secondary Education (ICSE) board. Officials said that there were 111 students from other states who were eligible for admissions. Officials of the admission committee said that the admission process will be held between August 16 and 31.

For the medical and dental course only 3,795 students in the general category were eligible whereas 2,798 students from the reserved category qualified. The ACPMCEC and state government have decided that to be eligible for the medical and dental course, students have to secure a minimum of 50 per cent marks in GujCET and HSC examination. Only students who have appeared in the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET-2013) will be eligible for admission to these Medical/ Paramedical professional courses.
